FINALLY A GOOD ANIMAL FACT OR FAKE BREAKDOWN
Soooo… you mean to say you're not Aqualad??
Why did you not get Steve erwins kids for this?
This would have been absolutely amazing if Steve Irwin was still alive.
Hes never seen jaws??
I've seen the inside of a rattlesnake and I must say it's pretty accurate. If I see a bear I run as fast as I can especially if I can outrun whomever I'm with. If I see a mountain lion or wolf I make as much noise as I can, be the aggressor not the retreater. I saw the biggest wolf of my life sneaking up on some sheep, it was dark red and shedding, I've also seen a grey wolf which aren't native to our area but they keep bringing them in until they over populate our area and then have a free to shoot policy, I don't get it. Just quit bringing them in and give out more tags for deer elk and moose, sounds simple to me.
He’s never caught a 21 foot anaconda. The longest anaconda ever recorded was 17 feet long. He’s either lying, or talking about Reticulated pythons and not anacondas.
This is fuckn good
“I’ve never seen Jaws.” He’s never seen Jaws. Hmmm……(tapping finger on chin) AHEM!!!!! Do you live under a rock sir?!
Alpha was fun to watch, not the best movie in the world but similaire to Life of Pie
Sure, If you look at 'Jaws' as far as the realism, it's laughable. But it's A MOVIE about what essentially is a fish that is a serial killer. It's not a documentary on Shark Week.
In Ace Ventura that dog is not a Beagle it is a Basset hound.
Jaws is a masterpiece. I don’t care if it’s unrealistic.
Forrest Gallante is a cool animal researcher whose a legit explorer with a sad past.
Animal expert calls a basset hound a beagle
Screw Jaws: this vid just make me even more terrified of crocodiles
I missed yesterday episode
If yall liked Forrest in this vid yall gotta watch his show Extinct or Alive. Talk about someone who actually finds what hes searching for. Fav episodes are the Galapagos tortoise and the Cape Lion.
This guy is a case study for Southern Californian accents. He sounds like he'd fit right in with the SNL skits "The Californians".
Really surprised he thought that was suppose to be a Tiger Shark in the Shallows.
Itd be cool if Forrest watched The Lion King (2019), The Jungle Book (2016), the new Planet of the Apes movies, Jurassic Park, and The Ghost and the Darkness.
Soooo what DO I do when I, per chance, find myself in a wolf den? (Kinda urgent…)
"that's not snowflake!"
I thought that is a basset hound not a beagle
Started it knowing I wasnt gunna watch it all , but here I am at the ending smhh
He did a great job explaining these clips 👍
My guy how have you never seen Jaws?😂
Does this guy not know that dominance theory has been debunked??
To all of you experts:Yes he said beagle,People make mistakes, especially when literally in the spotlight. Not a single one of you could retain this much info off the top of your heads unless you were actual expertsTherefore, you are no experts Ballslap
0:14 that was the joke
he prolly watched the grey 2 years ago, but boy it says 2011 …
Ice Cube: grunts and struggles to escapeAnaconda: hisses
"I've caught 150 anacondas and have never heard any of them grunt or growl"
I can relate to the wolf eye contact thing. Was wearing aviators and a large husky saw itself in my glasses staring at itself, it went nuts immediately. Eyes went all narrow and it went for me. Owner managed to hold it back though. Bit too much wolf in some of them, no warning…
Is it white tips that have few reported human attacks yet actually eat everyone when ships sink etc?
This man is highly educated
I feel like the production crew of Anaconda wanted to make a movie about a reticulated python which are more nimble & longer than anacondas and unlike the anaconda are agressive and caused several (about 10 verified and tons of unverified) human fatalaties, including consuming some people, but "anaconda" sounds cooler than "reticulated python" on a movie card so they went with anaconda, might also be the mystique of the amazon. I find it hilarious they used Frank Welker (scooby doo) basically doing a metal pig squeal as the voice of the snake.
Okay now i want to chill with the Otter
It cracks me up that a animal expert calls a basset hound a beagle lol
Talk to Russians about wolves before saying they are demonized. Some of the stories I've been told….
Take a shot everytime he says anatomically correct.
Bruh. How can this guy call himself a "wildlife expert" and not even know the different between a beagle and a basset hound?
37 minutes felt like 5 minutes, what a cool guy to listen to
Alligators don't hunt people? Tell that 2 the folks who live in Florida and have been attacked in their own backyard pools! Also I don't believe for a second that a shark wouldn't attack a person. Again these animals are instinctive and also opportunistic so yeah that's why they're called wild animals! Also he's never seen Jaws before? This guy looks like he's in his late 30s. What has he been living under a rock? Next he will say that Avaretar is James Cameron's best movie! I guess he never saw The Terminator or Aliens before either!🙄
What happened to the top of his beard near his lips?
Probably the coolest name
Listen to his Joe Rogan podcast, one of my faves!
9:55 Anacondically correct!
There is one case of great whites attacking surfers whilst they were on a wave in south africa… vids on youtube about
so you're telling me this isn't wearing a face beard?
When Ace calls out all the animals is amazing lol
Soooo….is everyone going to ignore that it was a great white in The Shallows and NOT a tiger shark?
That wasn’t a beagle, it was a basset hound
next time have him pick apart komodo 1999,crawl,47 meters down,8 below.
African Bullfrogs will 100% eat something while its alive. They will kill themselves trying to eat something. Not sure if other animals will do the same but that definitely can happen.
Love this dude, very stoked to see this
This guy told some crazy stories about the Amazon on Joe Rogan’s podcast, had NO idea he was a wildlife biologist. If you’re reading this and haven’t seen it, check it out. It’s worth the listen.
The shark in The Shallows was a great white not a tiger shark. Everything else was so accurate that stuck out.
this dude is going to explain to us next how the dinosaurs used in the jurassic movies were not real dinosaurs….. wait for it….
I expected him to have an Aussie accent
All you need to do if your in bear country is bring someone you really don't like and give them heavy hiking boots while you wear running shoes. Also playing dead sounds all well and dandy but I'm not going to try it😊
"Only three fatal wolf attacks in history."
Sooo, you've never seen jaws….yikes
A beagle?! My animal expertise is telling me that’s a basset hound but who am I to question such an expert? 🧐
Who picks these experts?! They are always fantastic – wonderful to listen to and so full of information and respect …
I feel like if I could choose an animal, being a big croc would be so cool. Like you just chill and float in the water, and no one fucks with you
OMG I completely forgot about Anaconda, I use to love that movie
Coulda swore constrictors kill not through asphyxiation ( which can take minutes to kill giving the prey a large window to injure /escape) but through cardiac arrest. The force exerted on the prey is so intense that blood flow becomes impossible and the heart stops, killing the prey in a much shorter time.
I could be wrong however…
this guy doesn't know the difference between a basset hound and a beagle, lol what an expert
"If you look into it, there have only been like 3 instances of wolves killing people in human history"… Um… I know of two that happened within the last 20 years. One in Saksatchewan, and one in Alaska. If you want me to believe that two deaths happened in the relatively same part of the world since 2005, but there was only one more in the rest of human history, you must think I'm dumber than I look…
When people make films that demonize an animal, it says more about those making the film than it does about the animal.
He looks so vibrant and alive in ways I will never be ever again.
i would like to see him talk about, Deep Blue Sea or Lake Placid
No Lake Placade or the Meg. I would like to hear his take on those.
Ah, okay, I understand now. So if i ever get into trouble with a wolf pack. I cuck the Alpha. Got it!
That's a Basset Hound not a Beagle, Mr. WiLdLiFe eXpErT
Thats not A wildlife expert, thats THE forest galante
I want to see an obgyn (@mamadrjones?) reviewing ridiculous birth scenes ie. Ailien, or the kid comes out and is six months old 😂
I lost respect when he called that basset a beagle
Why did he keep calling the shark in The Shallows a tiger shark? It's very clearly a Great White – the summary of the movie even says it.
"That being said" is this guys tag line.
In the first minute this guy misidentifies a basset hound as a beagle and calls a North American river otter an Asian small clawed otter multiple times……… at least he knows his snakes
If he'd caught that many Anacondas, it's surprising to know he doesn't know half of the species. There are FOUR recognized species, NOT two
When he said "3 fatal wolf attacks in history" he lost all credability for me. A quick google search and a look on wikipedia will show you 5 examples in north america alone in modern times. 5 examples mind you. That doesn't mean every event is recorded or mentioned. And there's also tons of wolves in other places than in north america. There is even an example of över 600 people being killed in ONE year by wolves in india. 3 fatal attacks in history? Really?
I’m no expert but, he just called that Basset Hound a Beagle…
It was a great white in the shallows not a tiger
Idk. He called the basset a beagle and alpha wolf theory has been disavowed. I agree with the gist of what he’s saying but this seems like a fluff piece. I’d rather a more prepared analysis of the behavior in the clips
Great video. But shhhhh. You don’t sass the jaws. It’s called suspension of disbelief. And what happened in this mans life where he’s never seen jaws. As a cinema expert I think he’s sorely missing out
Really loved this, was informative and fun but you messed up on The Shallows. The shark in the movie is a great white. Also there are documented cases of whites hitting surfers while they are riding a wave. There is both photo evidence of these fish cruising in the waves while a surfer is on the curl and there is even one incredibly dramatic video of two whites attacking the same surfer as he rides the wave. Watch that one here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkFdDVkxGuU
One of my favorite podcast guests on Joe Rogan. Awsome stories.
Where’s Steve Irwin when u need him…o was that too soon 🤔
Y'all are all getting worked up about him never seeing Jaws but I've never even seen Jaws before either lmao
1. hes dressed like a zoo keeper 2. i love how comfortable he gets throughout the video
in the Shallows its a great white shark not a tiger shark… shouldn't a wildlife biologist know the difference?
Man next time don't forget "MEG" he is huge! And awesomely inaccurate! LoL 😂
The initial attack could've possibly been a tiger but the main aggressor throughout the movie is a great white. Not a tiger.
its a shame this guy cant recognise a tiger over a great white….. this guys credibility just dropped significantly lol
Watch Forrest Galantes podcast with Joe Rogan for more! This guy is the billy GOAT 🐐
Aww, I really wanted to hear him destroy the Gators behavior in Crawl
Did this guy just say he never saw jaws!!! 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️💭💭💭
Hey Forest, have you ever tried DMT?
