How can people live in places that are volcanically active? Like you have to always prepare to abandon your baby’s crib and your house?

Hey, you gotta appreciate people who gather footage like this because they let you know where not to be at in a time of crisis. Thank you.

I love this channel. This is how educational shows should be. Or what history channel and discovery channel was at its peak before it degraded to reality drama TV only

The mountain was quiet while I was there in 2011. Very disappointed.

Wasn’t thus last year? Air here in Sydney now hazardous due to over 100 brushfires in New South Wales, worse than Beijing and Delhi.

Okay I get the drama with the tourists, but the residents knew this was always a possibility… (That comes from living on a volcano, let alone one of the most active) So yes there homes are burning down and towns and roads are gone, but unlike a brushfire all of them had time to pack up and leave… so the only drama is they lost their home but if they were smart and evacuated in advance they would not lose their belongings…
