@TheMadzymoo the answer: condoms!
"they're ovulating"… wow, i didn't know men ovulated too. thanks for that insight!
@kcssnotbubble Yes. If you want to know more contact the Couple to Couple League.
I think this explanation mixes the Billings and Serena method?
Also isn't it generally accepted that the Rhythm Method DOESN'T work?
Yeash… Yeah, anyone REALLY want to practice NFP, consider buying the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." This is… not the best video.
so with all that work and not having sex 13 days a month its only 75% evective ? Bugger that.
Modern methods of NFP are not the Rhythm Method. Modern methods such as Billings, Creighton, etc., are scientifically sound and are consistently found to be around 96-99% effective, which is comparable to even the most effective artificial contraceptives.
Cyclebeads are not the rhythm method you idiots! It's a completely different method. Thanks for spreading more misinformation about natural birth control though!
Also, why cite the "typical" effectiveness rates? The real methods (not rhythm method) are 99% effective if done right.
Oh heck yeah!! Its especially great for people who have irregular cycles. Though this is not the best video.
Go to Iusenfp.com for better info.
CYCLE BEADS ARE NOT NFP!!
Yes, it used the Marquette method that does NOT rely on your cycle. watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qj5k90OnbFg#!
You need to update your information. NFP Uses the Marquette method (see here: watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qj5k90OnbFg#!) not the rythem.
Contraceptive pills are only about 90% effective, NFP is actually more effective.
Natural family planing, and sexual abstinents 100% castration people look at
Behavioral methods of birth control
Sympto-thermal method of birth control
What are you talking about? I never said NFP uses the rhythm method. I am aware that NFP is about 99% effective, but the pill is also 99% effective, not 90%. Maybe you should actually read and understand my comment before commenting. Also, you are misinformed about NFP. The Marquette method is only one method that is not widely used. Most people follow their temperature and cervical mucus, not the Marquette method.
For NFP you can also check "My natural fertility" web page. Especially "Calculate" button seems very interesting to me.
NFP is 99% effective and this video makes Natural Family Planning seem strenuous and not worth it when in reality it is.
I used NFP but I got lazy and now use Natural Cycles app that does all the work for me. It's nice when algorithm tells me in the morning if I am fertile or not. I have been using it for 8 months and no pregnancy here. I still track my cervical mucus along with the app and also take LH tests monthly to pinpoint my day of ovulation.
