Breathe with the Ocean. Welcome to this soothing bedtime meditation.
This is a relaxing guided visualization to help you melt away tension, worry, and fall
peacefully asleep. For best results, listen using headphones. Please be responsible and listen only when
you are in a place that is safe to fall asleep. Do not listen while driving or operating machinery. Let’s begin. Find a place where you can be comfortable
and free of distraction. Lie down, flat on your back and settle in
and close your eyes. This is your time. Your time to rest. Your time to rejuvenate. There’s nothing else you need to do right now. Begin to breathe deeply, relaxing your body
and mind. Focus on your breath, coming in to your body, and going out of your body. With each out breath, notice any tension begin
to melt away. Pull your shoulders down away from your ears
and relax them into their new position slowly. Breathe in gently through your nose, hold
for a count of two, and then release slowly through your nose….tension going out. With each in breath, send that relaxation
deeper into your body. And with the out breath, release a bit more tension each time. Breathing in for a count of two…..and hold
for a count of two….and release Soften the muscles in your neck and relax
your face. Loosen your jaw, separating your teeth. Keep your lips sealed, jaw loose, and drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth. Relax….relax… Keep your jaw loose and relax the tightness
in your forehead and the tiny muscles around your eyes. Feel a sensation of warm relaxation at the
crown of your head spreading evenly across your scalp. Now imagine yourself lying on the beach. Warm
sun on your skin and a cool salty breeze blowing off the ocean. Feel the weight of your body sinking deeper
and deeper into the sand, the gravity of the earth pulling you gently down, down, sinking,
melting…. You hear the water nearby. Gentle waves sighing
against the sandy beach…. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh With every breath you take in, imagine the
waves softly sucked back out to sea. And every out breath, the water coming back
to shore. In and out. In and out. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Good. Feel the tension melting away. Your
body is heavier and heavier with each breath. Waves coming in with your breath, and out.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..relax Bring your attention to your toes. Start to
notice how relaxed your entire body is becoming as you move up from your toes. Feel the relaxation in your feet, spreading
upward into your calves. Release the tension in your legs and let them
feel heavy and sink into the sand. Warm relaxation spreads up through your knees
and into your thighs, making your body feel heavy, so heavy as you allow yourself to melt
into the sand. Continue to allow your breathing to follow
the ebb and flow of the ocean as the waves roll in, and out. Notice your sit bones and pelvis relaxing
and sinking down heavy, so heavy into the sand. Feel the warm sun on your skin as the relaxation
spreads up through your abdomen and across your chest, shoulders and into your arms. Shoulders and shoulder blades relaxed, sinking,
melting. Arms, hands, fingers so soft. So soft. Listen to the ocean as she whispers shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
sleeeeeep. Sleep….Sleep Sleep…..Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Waves coming in with your breath, and out. Shhhhhhhh…sleep Waves coming in with your breath, and out. Shhhhhhhhhh…..sleep Breathe with the ocean Waves coming in with your breath, and out. Shhhhhhhhh…..sleep In…. and out…..in…… and out. You are warm, comfortable, and safe. It’s ok to fall asleep right here in the sand You are safe, relaxed, and warm, just sleeping
by by the sea Shhhhhhhh…sleep In….and out… You are warm, comfortable, and safe. It’s ok to fall asleep right here on the sand. Best guided meditation ever! This is the only one I listen to and have been listening to it every single night for a while now. I do have trouble sleeping and u don't know how much this has helped !! Being in high school has been very stressful but I always look forwards to coming home and listening to this to relax me! Thank you so much!!
